Vintage20 is very pleased to present Design Masterpieces, an exhibition focused on the furniture of celebrated architect and designer, Pierre Jeanneret. Design Masterpieces is timed to coincide with the TEFAF art fair. Pierre Jeanneret pursued a progressive architectural philosophy that integrated design into everyday living. His ideas were practical yet driven by a refined aesthetic, and he expanded the boundaries of design in the 20th century. Jeanneret's furniture is recognized as embodying a perfect balance of material ingenuity and engineering; he is best known for his more than fifty-year collaboration with his cousin, the architect Le Corbusier.
Design Masterpieces is being held in conjunction with two other galleries in New York: Gallery 1950 and MAGEN H.
